Classical literature on Hindu themes bearing local traditions is quite rich as far Kashmiri Pandits are concerned. Old texts of these treatises are nearly lost, but anyone who is desirous to explore the old lore and know the religious traditions of his or her ancestor can feast over these classical texts that no longer are in circulation or even known to exist. A last copy of a particular text can be a joy to leaf through.
