Kashmiri Pandits follow a very old system of calendar called the Sapta Rishi.  Traditional literature about making almanacs and astrological digests are quite uncommon. Some rare tracts afford a mine. So are the astrological charts. The archive preserves the best of traditional literature presently unfamiliar to the priests and unknown to the masses.
